Dermal Filler Post-Care Instructions

·      No hot tubs, swimming pools, steam rooms, or saunas for the remainder of the day.

·      Do not massage, scrub, or rub the treated areas.  No massages or facials for the next 48 hours following your dermal filler treatment.

·      You should not apply pressure to the treated areas for the remainder of the day.  No wearing hats or sunglasses.

·      Do not apply make-up for 24 hours.

·      Avoid raising your heart rate for the remainder of the day, so do not participate in any strenuous activities.

·      Mild post- treatment swelling may occur and last for 48 hours to one (1) week.  It is ok to lightly apply ice packs as needed for comfort. 

·      Notify the provider if you experience increased bruising or swelling post-treatment.

·      Follow up with the provider in 2 weeks.  If any adjustments need to be made they can be done at this time, but no sooner.
